Dhamma Divakara
Dhamma Divakara is one of the numerous worldwide centers dedicated to teaching of Vipassana Meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin. Dhamma Divakara is managed by Uttar Gujarat Vipassana Kendra, a registered public trust.
Meditation Hall
There are two Meditation halls. Approximately 100 students can meditate together in the main meditation hall. Approximately 30 Students can meditate together in the other meditation Hall.
Dining Hall
There are separate dining halls for male and female students. Meals are vegetarian, non-spicy and indigenous.
Pagoda
Pagoda has 107 meditation cells. The individual meditation cells allow old students to meditate more deeply.
Accommodation
The center has total 110 individual rooms with attached toilets. All rooms have hot and cold running water facility.
Location
Dhamma Divakara is located near Ranoda village. It is approximately 35 Kms from Ahmedabad and 4 Kms before Dholka, on Sarkhej/Bakrol – Dholka Highway).
